Position Title: Digital Manager

Position Description:

eo&co is seeking a Digital Manager to support its progressive advocacy, movement building, and election-related work. This role will play a key part in developing and executing digital strategies that mobilize supporters, influence public narratives, and supports coalition and electoral campaigns. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on practitioner who thrives in fast-paced, values-driven environments.


Core Responsibilities:

The Digital Manager will be responsible for a mix of strategic planning, execution, and collaboration, including but not limited to:

  • Execute and support digital strategies for progressive advocacy, movement-building, and electoral campaigns, translating strategic goals into effective digital tactics.

  • Draft, edit, and adapt compelling message copy across digital channels, including social media, email, websites, and peer-to-peer and broadcast text programs.

  • Monitor social platforms, digital trends, and emerging tools to inform content development, rapid response, and platform-specific strategy.

  • Conduct research to inform messaging, audience targeting, and digital strategy recommendations.

  • Develop digital toolkits, guidance, and resources for diverse audiences, including partners, volunteers, organizers, and high-profile surrogates.

  • Create social media graphics and short-form video content using tools such as Canva, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with campaign narratives.

  • Support and implement digital advertising efforts, including coordination, execution, optimization, and performance review.

  • Track, analyze, and report on digital performance metrics, using insights to refine tactics and improve outcomes.

  • Contribute to the development of integrated digital strategies in collaboration with the Vice President of Digital and cross-functional team members.

  • Participate in coalition, client, and partner meetings, providing digital insight and execution support.

  • Assist in the design and delivery of digital trainings for internal staff, partners, and external stakeholders.

  • Support rapid-response digital efforts during high-stakes or fast-moving moments as needed.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support EO&Co’s clients, campaigns, and organizational priorities.


Required Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience working as a digital strategist, social media strategist, or in a comparable digital advocacy or campaign role.

  • Demonstrated experience working on progressive advocacy, movement-building, and/or electoral campaigns.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messages across platforms and audiences

  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms and basic HTML

  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, or similar)

  • Experience with advocacy and organizing tools such as Action Network and/or EveryAction

  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, programmatic, or similar)

  • Ability to track, interpret, and report on digital analytics and performance metrics

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Drive

  • Fluency in English; Spanish-language proficiency is a plus

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • At least two electoral cycles managing or contributing to digital communications within an organization, IE campaign, or candidate campaign.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Comfort working in coalition environments and with diverse partners and stakeholders

  • Ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable tactics.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to work.

  • Commitment to progressive values, equity, and social justice.


Travel Requirements: 

There may be travel required, but no more than 2 trips per quarter.


Salary and Benefits: 

This role is compensated at a flat monthly rate of $10,500 with full-time capacity expected. This is a contract position, not an employee role, and does not include employee benefits such as health insurance or retirement contributions. This role is currently set to start February 2, 2026 through December 31, 2026 with a possibility to renew in January 2027.
