Eunic Epstein-Ortiz
Principal Strategist, Co-Founder
Eunic Epstein-Ortiz (she/her) is a seasoned communications expert with nearly 20 years of experience in government, advocacy, and public affairs. She has led high-impact campaigns, from securing a statewide $15 minimum wage in Florida to advising Brazil President’s leadership team on global messaging for the 2016 Olympics. She has also played a key role in coordinating national coalition responses to major political moments, including the outcome of the 2024 elections. Eunic has held key communication roles at SEIU, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, FleishmanHillard, the New York City Council, and major news outlets including CNN, NBC, and ABC. She now leads EO & Co., a strategic communications and campaigns firm focused on social justice, electoral, and public affairs initiatives.
Jess Kaufman
VP, Strategic Communications
Jess (she/her) is a seasoned communications strategist with extensive experience in advocacy, labor, and public affairs. She has successfully driven strategic communications campaigns to advance the rights of working people and individuals with disabilities, including defending key Executive Orders that extended a $15 minimum wage and job security to federal contract workers, and securing the passage of a groundbreaking policy protecting workers with disabilities’ labor rights. She is skilled in media training, website development, multilingual content creation, and accessibility. Jess is passionate about uplifting the voices of marginalized communities and building collaborative strategies for systemic change.
Kyle Sieg Yazbec
Director, Earned Media
Kyle (he/him) is a communications leader, storyteller, and writer with over a decade of experience driving media engagement for large nonprofit healthcare organizations. He specializes in elevating brand visibility, shaping narratives, and leading strategic communications efforts that resonate with diverse audiences. Before transitioning to public relations, Kyle worked as a local journalist and TV news producer in multiple Florida media markets. His background in journalism informs his deep understanding of compelling, audience-first storytelling.
Jordan Taylor
Communications Strategist
Jordan (she/her) is a creative strategist and storyteller dedicated to elevating underrepresented voices and preserving culture through narrative. With a foundation in multicultural engagement, communications, and brand building, she translates lived experience and cultural fluency into campaigns, partnerships, and creative direction that resonate—while honoring legacy. Whether developing brand strategy, producing digital content, or shaping editorial narratives, Jordan is driven by one goal: making space for truth, nuance, and belonging.
January Williams
VP, Digital
January (she/her) is a political digital strategist with nearly twenty years in developing data-driven integrated campaigns and strategies for associations, nonprofits, and political candidates, that build awareness, increase stakeholder engagement, drive acquisition, and raise online revenue. She served as the IE Digital Director for the DSCC during the 2024 cycle, leading digital strategy efforts that supported key Senate races. Prior to that, she directed digital campaigns for NARAL and SEIU, crafting online strategies that enhanced advocacy engagement and fundraising.
Kait Thomson
Strategic Communications and Lead Trainer
Kait (they/them) is a seasoned campaign strategist with over a decade of experience leading winning efforts from local charter fights to national advocacy campaigns. They have designed and executed high-impact programs for organizations including the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Reproductive Freedom for All, and 350.org. Most recently, Kait served on the executive committee for Florida’s Amendment 4 ballot initiative, helping secure a 57% vote in favor. Known for their sharp storytelling instincts, Kait specializes in shaping narrative strategy and coaching spokespeople to clearly articulate bold, values-driven visions for justice and change.
Eve Epstein-Ortiz
COO, General Counsel, and Co-Founder
Eve (she/her) is a former CEO with extensive regulatory and corporate in-house expertise. With over 15 years of legal expertise, Eve specializes in corporate governance, labor and employment law, and regulatory compliance, offering thoughtful counsel to organizations navigating complex challenges. Beyond her professional achievements, Eve is deeply committed to community service, having served on numerous non-profit boards. She has championed initiatives to provide housing and resources for homeless women, protect LGBTQ youth, and advocate for animal welfare. A proud mother and wife, Eve enjoys spending time with her family—including their three cats and dog—and finds joy in running and hosting spontaneous get-togethers with friends.
Mattie Goldman
Director, Strategic Communications
Mattie (she/her) is a strategic communications expert with over a decade of experience in media relations, advocacy, and social media across electoral, nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors. She most recently worked at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, where she led press events and partner convenings on voting rights, education, healthcare, and other issues. Previously, she managed social media and rapid response at José Andrés' Group, led marketing campaigns at GMMB, and led press outreach on a midterm congressional campaign. A Chicago native, she holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University.
Ejolee Morrison
Digital Manager
Ejolee (she/her) is an award-winning communications and digital strategy leader with 10 years of full-time experience in nonprofit and advocacy organizations. She specializes in social media, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement, helping mission-driven teams translate complex issues into clear narratives that drive visibility and action.
She has led high-impact digital programs for organizations including the International Rescue Committee, Doctors Without Borders, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance. Her work includes managing global social media and content strategy at the International Rescue Committee, directing copy for the award-winning Abortion Is Essential campaign at Blue State, and launching the #IAmADomesticWorker campaign as Social Media Director at the National Domestic Workers Alliance.
